chrismsigerson Listening to “Dogs Of Orion” I am reminded of the CBC radio show “DiscDrive” hosted by Jurgen Gothe. The show ran for 23 years and was guided by Gothe’s fine and eclectic taste in music. I think this album would have found itself in regular rotation. “Jazz”“Classical” “World” “Chamber”could all be used in describing the music offered here. It is performed by young and talented musicians that play and sing with artistry and a depth of emotion which defies their ages. Fan

How long it takes to say goodnight is all too sorrowful to say is all my heartaches wrapped in one, when the night is done as you turn away. How long it takes to say goodnight is longer than a thousand poems I could read is more than you could ever know time should be so slow for me. Dark is the night when the moon gives no light and the stars tell no tales above. Why should they shine there for me when it's always you I'm dreaming of? How long it takes to say goodnight is more than just an open door is more than my heart hopes to bear, don't leave me standing there say goodnight once more.

about

Liner Notes:
l'd like to sincerely thank Ben Hadley and his team of recording engineers for their work, vision of the sound, and patience. It's truly a pleasure to collaborate with such a sensitive and professional team of recording engineers and to work with them on finding the sound of the record. Thanks also to my teachers Christine Jensen, Min Rager, and Brian Cherney for their advice in the compositions and arrangements, and of course to the musicians in offering their artistry to the record. Special thanks to Raph for his tune, and to my parents Kyu Min Lee and Chris Sigerson for letting me mess with their compositions. And thanks to you who's reading this for supporting our music. - Benjamin Sigerson
